PRAISE & WORSHIP SERVICE
Defined, we'd say that the 'early' service is well worth getting up for.
Our desire as part of the Body of Christ is to make our Savior known to the world which is in desperate need of Him and to lead those who already know the Lord into a deeper and closer walk with Him. The FBC "early" service exists to provide a Christ-centered, spirit-filled worship experience where we pray that each person has a personal encounter with the living Savior.
Christ-Centered. Paul said in 1 Corinthians "I have resolved to know nothin except Christ Jesus and Him crucified." We take this as a model for the 'early' service. Our focus on Christ alone permits us to worship freely. Styles may vary, but just as Paul was relevant to that church in that time we strive to create a powerful and relevant atmosphere where He is exalted and glorified today.
Spirit-Filled. From the foundations of the Church 2000 years ago, we see without exception that effective believers were empowered with the Spirit of God. Today, that same fact holds true. "After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly", Acts 4:31 records. We strive to lead the church to walk in the power of the Spirit of God through prayer, singing, and the teaching of God's Word.
Come as you are. Come expecting God to meet you. Come expecting God to move. Come and worship with us.
Service begins at 9:00am followed by Bible Fellowship at 10:30am.
