What do you have for my family?Families are important at First Baptist. We offer a wide variety of experiences for everyone. You'll learn a lot about these opportunities by browsing to the ministries section of our site. Preschoolers have a special place in our hearts. We provide a learning experience for them during each of our services. Our baby nursery was renovated in June 2006 to provide a secure, nurturing environment for your child. Older preschoolers can enjoy Mission Friends on Wednesday evenings during the school year. Our goal in preschool ministry is to provide a secure environment and age-appropriate activities to help you construct a foundation for faith in their lives. Our children's ministry is built around a variety of ministries as well. Bible Study Fellowship is our core ministry and meets on Sunday morning at 9:00 and 10:30. Kids Club is a kid friendly worship experience. FBC sponsors an AWANA Club, GA's and RA's (to learn about missions around the world) and graded choirs which meet weekly. Throughout the year, special events such as Fall Festival, Vacation Bible School, and a Spring Egg Hunt are sponsored. Children represent our future and our goal in children's ministry it to help them learn about Jesus as they discover His perfect will for their lives. The Student Ministry of FBC is a dynamic area of ministry. Music, missions, worship, camp, service and ministry represent key areas of development that we seek to encourage in young people. Ministry to parents is a vital part of our ministry as well. Singles also enjoy a wide variety of activities. Mission trips, Bible study, service projects, fun and worship are planned regularly to help you grow in your relationship with God and others. Finally, adults can join with other adults in Bible Study Fellowship or participate in activities custom designed to offer enrichment to women, men and families. Senior Adults also have the opportunity to travel widely and serve significantly with others. Take a few minutes to browse the ministries section of our site. We think you'll agree, there is a lot to offer to you and your family.
